Lo-Lo's Chicken & Waffles is a high-energy, southern-style full-service restaurant that serves made-to-order southern comfort foods in a warm and inviting hometown environment. Known for its exquisite seasoning mixtures and tantalizing flavors, the restaurant gives guests a chance to indulge in classic southern fried chicken, crispy golden waffles, and other soul food favorites. LRW Concepts, LLC is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Steward/Dishwasher to join the back-of-house team at Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles located at Palms Place in Las Vegas, NV. This position is critical to maintaining smooth kitchen operations by ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are continuously clean and available. The role requires strong organizational skills, efficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Steward/Dishwasher supports the overall kitchen workflow by keeping the dish area orderly and helping with essential cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.

This position offers flexible shifts including open, swing, closing, weekends, and mandatory holidays, with part-time hours ranging from 10 to 30 per week depending on business needs. Starting hourly pay ranges from $16 to $21, based on experience. The Steward/Dishwasher reports to the back-of-house Team Lead, Kitchen Manager, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager. No prior experience is required as training will be provided to the right candidate. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, the ability to multitask effectively, and a team-oriented mindset. Physical stamina is important since the role includes lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Food Handler’s Certification is required and adherence to all food safety and sanitation guidelines is mandatory.

Job Duties

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish area, sinks, and storage spaces
  • Assist with trash removal, sweeping, and general kitchen cleanliness
  • Help restock clean items to the appropriate stations
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
  • Support kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning tasks as needed
  • Work efficiently during high-volume periods while staying focused and positive
