Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
ability to operate large kitchen equipment safely
experience in dishwashing or steward duties preferred
ability to follow sanitation guidelines
good physical condition and stamina
availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
basic communication skills

ability to operate industrial kitchen equipment safely
basic knowledge of sanitation and safety standards

good physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

sweep and mop floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
operate large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers
wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned
segregate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers
steam clean or hose out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas
wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food preparation machines and equipment
transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards
assist with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested
assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product
distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed
comply with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements
perform other duties as assigned
