Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- six (6) months related experience in hospitality or service industry
- ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to speak effectively before groups of employees or guests
- physical ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to perform a variety of tasks and duties as needed or directed

Job Duties
- adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, training material, memos and verbal instruction
- bus dining room and patio, keep tables clear of dishes and food remnants
- wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
- maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
- stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars
- sweep and scrub floors
- clean garbage cans with water or steam
- sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- assist in unloading deliveries (food and supplies)
- ensure open lines of communication via email, logbooks, meetings, etc., to ensure all needs of the restaurant are met
- maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the work area
- ensure that all equipment is maintained in good, safe working condition
- maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the property
- keep abreast of safety and emergency procedures and OSHA requirements
- attend relevant meetings
