The Lead Steward position at Legends Global is a critical and dynamic role within BMO Stadium's operations, reporting directly to the Executive Chef. This part-time role offers competitive compensation starting at $25.00 per hour. The Lead Steward is entrusted with managing all stewarding staff, overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of culinary equipment and ware, and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across kitchen and workroom areas. The role demands a detail-oriented and proactive professional who takes urgency and timeliness seriously while maintaining impeccable order. Key responsibilities include directing the cleaning of all surfaces, operating specialized kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and trash compactors safely and effectively, and inspecting the facility for hygiene compliance.

Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 2 years experience in a high-volume kitchen area
- ability to work long flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- ability to stand sit use hands to handle or feel reach with hands and arms
- ability to lift and or move up to 50 pounds
- specific vision abilities required including close vision and distance vision
- willing to work flexible hours and handle high pressure situations in interruptive environment
- must follow and encourage team to follow all safety policies and procedures including reporting unsafe conditions
- ability to report all safety incidents immediately
- must maintain strict confidentiality regarding food and beverage operations

Job Duties
- Oversee all stewarding staff
- oversee the cleaning and storage of all wares at BMO Stadium including all major culinary equipment
- execute stewarding and dish duties
- inspect kitchens workrooms and equipment for cleanliness and general order
- ensure urgency timeliness and detail minded work habits
- direct efficient and effective cleaning of all areas inclusive of walls and floors
- ensure safety and security of employees and guests
- maintain strict confidentiality regarding food and beverage operations
- demonstrate knowledge of chemical usage operating a dishwasher and proper usage of a trash compactor
- work flexible hours and handle high pressure situations
- perform other duties as assigned
