Job Requirements

At least three years supervisory experience in a high-volume resort required
At least three or more years stewarding experience required
A working knowledge of kitchens, dish machines, silver-plated equipment care and polishing, and chemical awareness
Strong working knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other related computer programs
Communicate effectively in English/Spanish both verbally and written forms
Professional appearance and demeanor a must

Job Duties

Oversee the breakdown, feed, catches, and sorts of all dishes and flatware as it is brought to the dish area
Ensure wash, sort and store pots in their proper location on shelves
Oversee wall washing, ceilings, baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boards
Ensure floors are mopped and swept daily
Ensure the transport of garbage from kitchen areas to trash room is completed
Oversee the polishing of silver, glass and brass in areas as needed
Delegate tasks to department and ensure job requirements are completed correctly and in a timely manner
