We are currently seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all plateware, silverware, glassware, pots and pans, utensils, and work areas in a timely manner. Your efforts will directly contribute to the overall guest experience by maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and service areas. The role is hourly with a pay rate starting at $16.75 per hour. As part of the team, you will be encouraged to be natural, professional, and personable, always prepared to take ownership of your responsibilities and take action to support the team and guests.

This position involves setting up and monitoring dishwashing stations, operating dish machines according to manufacturer specifications, and replenishing cleaning supplies as needed. You will work closely with departments such as Catering, Banquets, Outlets, and Maintenance to promote teamwork and ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities also include cleaning designated equipment and areas such as hoods, filters, steam tables, ovens, grills, sinks, and refrigerators. Proper handling and disposal of kitchen substances and chemicals are crucial to maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

The Dishwasher role requires physical stamina to carry or lift items up to 75 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks involving bending, stooping, and kneeling. The ability to read labels, follow instructions, and apply basic math skills to mix chemical solutions is essential. Flexibility in working nights, weekends, or holidays may be required, depending on operational needs.

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize plateware, silverware, glassware, pots and pans, utensils, and equipment in a timely manner
  • Set up work station including filling dish machine, checking chemical levels, presoaking, and gathering equipment
  • Operate dishwashing machine according to manufacturer instructions and place clean dishes in assigned storage
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through communication with Catering, Banquets, Outlets, and Maintenance departments
  • Clean designated kitchen equipment such as hoods, filters, steam tables, ovens, grills, sinks, refrigerators, service areas, walls, and floors
  • Empty and clean trash cans, transport garbage to dump sites, and adhere to recycling regulations
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floor and monitor chemical and water temperatures during shifts
