Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in dishwashing or a similar role preferred
Ability to work efficiently without close supervision
Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
Willingness to adhere to uniform and grooming standards
Strong communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Ensure compliance of all policies and Code of Conduct as specified in the Employee Playbook
Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing a clean uniform
Commit to a clean and organized work area
Take initiative and work without close supervision, staying productive during shift
Operate dish-washing equipment to ensure all china, glass and silverware are cleaned thoroughly and sanitized
Replace all clean china, glass and silverware in proper storage locations using care to minimize breakage
Wash pots, pans and kitchen utensils following proper cleanliness and sanitation procedures, storing them appropriately
Handle cleaning materials and chemicals safely
Assist other team members as needed
Demonstrate a helpful and warm attitude when encountered with guests
Follow emergency procedures
Promote safety by observing, correcting and reporting any safety hazards immediately
Clean and maintain the appearance of the kitchen, staff restrooms, including removing debris or trash found on the ground
Maintain cleanliness of the back dock and dumpster area
Report all maintenance issues in back of house areas
Remove trash and recycled materials throughout the shift
Assist with other duties as requested
