Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in a dishwashing or similar hospitality role preferred
ability to work flexible scheduled shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends
physical ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring bending, stooping, squatting, and stretching
willingness to comply with all food safety, chemical safety, and hotel policies
ability to work in a moderately noisy kitchen environment without distraction
commitment to attendance and reliability standards

Job Qualifications

Ability to understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel
effective communication skills
ability to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision
detail-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently
able to speak, understand, and communicate in the primary language(s) used in the workplace
ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs regularly
knowledge of safety requirements including proper use of PPE and cleaning chemicals

Job Duties

Set up and organize the dishwashing area
operate all equipment assigned safely
clean and sanitize all china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots, and pans in the hotel
take inventories of china, silverware, and glassware
ensure restaurant and banquet kitchens are properly stocked to open their shifts
maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchens and food preparation areas including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, preparation slicers, steam kettles, tables, and floors
follow all food safety and cleanliness standards while performing job duties
