We are currently seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our Food and Beverage team. This full-time, non-management position is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards required in a busy hotel kitchen and dining operation. As a Dishwasher, you will operate and maintain various cleaning equipment, including dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors. You will be responsible for washing and disinfecting kitchen and storage areas, as well as tables, tools, knives, and cooking equipment. Handling deliveries, storing perishables correctly, and rotating stock are also essential duties to ensure the smooth operation of kitchen inventory.

Your role will involve the use of detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in a three-compartment sink to efficiently clean dishes and utensils. You will inspect, pull, stack cleaned items, and send soiled items back for re-cleaning, ensuring that high hygiene standards are consistently met. The job also requires you to rack and spray items with hot water to remove food residues, sort silverware, soak and rewash as necessary, and manage trash and recycling duties including breaking down cardboard boxes and maintaining dumpster areas.

The ideal candidate needs to have open availability with a preferred flexible shift schedule and should be capable of physical activities such as lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds, standing, walking for extended periods, bending, twisting, and stooping. This position maintains a strong focus on safety and security, requiring the dishwasher to follow company policies, report unsafe conditions or accidents, complete required safety training, and help protect company assets. Beyond cleaning duties, this role emphasizes clear professional communication and the development of positive working relationships within the team to achieve common goals.
