The role being offered is a full-time Food and Beverage position within the culinary department, specifically focused on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in kitchens and storage areas. This non-management position pays $18.20 per hour and requires a dedicated team member who can efficiently operate cleaning equipment such as dishwashers and trash compactors, hand wash stations, and pot scrubbing areas. The role involves washing and disinfecting kitchen tools, tables, knives, and equipment and properly receiving and storing perishables. Stock rotation and maintaining clean wares storage is an essential part of the job. Employees use detergents and sanitizing chemicals, following safety protocols and standards to ensure the highest level of hygiene.

Additional duties include inspecting cleaned items for quality, rinsing and re-washing silverware and dishes, breaking down dirty bus tubs, emptying trashcans and maintaining dumpster areas, cleaning all assigned department areas including floors through mopping, and disposal of glass and recyclable materials. Physical demands of the job involve moving, lifting, pushing, pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds and extended periods of standing, walking, bending, twisting, and stooping. The role also requires adherence to company policies, safety and security procedures, and effective communication with coworkers and management.

Job Duties

  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools including dish washing machine and trash compactor
