Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dish washing machines and trash compactors
- wash and disinfect kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
- receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock
- use detergent and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes
- inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items and send soiled items back for re-washing
- rack and spray all racked items with hot water to remove food residue
- breakdown dirty bus tubs and empty trashcans
- clean and mop all areas in assigned departments
- dispose of glass properly and recycle cardboard boxes and other recyclables
- follow all company safety and security policies and report maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe conditions
- maintain positive working relationships and support team goals
- move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
