Job Requirements

Must have full open availability including weekends Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Must be able to work full-time
Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
Must comply with all company safety policies
Physical ability to bend, reach overhead, stoop and twist
Must report any accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions to management

Job Qualifications

No secondary education diploma, GED not required
No related previous work experience required
No supervisory experience required
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Ability to follow safety protocols strictly
Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment
Physical capability to perform tasks involving lifting and prolonged standing
Willingness to learn and adapt to operational procedures

Job Duties

Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwashers, hand-washing stations, pot sinks and waste compactors
Wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas, tables, utensils, knives and equipment
Receive deliveries, properly store perishable products and rotate stock
Ensure clean dishes are stored in proper areas
Use chemical detergents and sanitizers in three-compartment sinks for washing dishes
Inspect, stack and send dirty items back for re-washing
Place items on racks and apply hot water with sprayer to loosen food residues
Sort, soak and wash/re-wash silverware
Sort and separate containers for dirty items
Empty trash bins and maintain waste disposal areas
Clean and mop all assigned department areas
Dispose of glass in appropriate containers
Break down cardboard boxes and place recyclables in recycling bins
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, report accidents and hazardous conditions
Protect company property
Communicate clearly and professionally with others
Develop positive working relationships and support team goals
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Move, lift, transport, push, pull and place objects up to 50 pounds unassisted
Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods
Reach overhead and below knees, bend, twist, drag and stoop
Perform reasonable additional duties requested by supervisors
