Job Duties

operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools including dishwashers and trash compactors
wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas including tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
receive deliveries and properly store and rotate perishable products
ensure clean dishware is stored in appropriate areas
use chemical detergents, disinfectants, and rinsing agents in three-compartment sinks
inspect, stack, and send dirty articles back for cleaning
apply hot water spray to loosen and remove food residue
sort, soak, wash, and rewash cutlery
empty trash bins and maintain garbage areas
clean and mop all assigned departmental areas
dispose of glass and recyclable materials properly
follow all safety policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions
communicate clearly and professionally with team members
support team goals and maintain positive working relationships
comply with quality and hygiene standards
move and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed
stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors
