Job Duties

  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area, kitchen floors, trash receptacles, and storage areas
  • Assist with basic food prep and set-up as directed by chefs or kitchen supervisors
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
  • Monitor dishwashing machines for proper chemical levels and water temperature
  • Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries and supplies
  • Support chefs and line cooks with cleaning duties during and after service
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to support smooth kitchen operations
