Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dishwashing areas, and storage spaces
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, ensuring all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Assist kitchen staff by organizing and restocking kitchen supplies, including cookware, dishes, and cutlery
- Ensure proper waste disposal, including recycling and composting, in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Support food preparation by cleaning and preparing workstations as needed
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, informing management of reordering needs
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in other food and beverage areas as required
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations
