Job Requirements

Ability to lift, push, and carry heavy objects and stand for long periods

prior stewarding, dishwashing, or kitchen support experience preferred but not required
strong work ethic

comfort with commercial dishwashing equipment and cleaning chemicals

strong work ethic and ability to follow direction
attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and safety standards
ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
comfortable using commercial dishwashing equipment and cleaning chemicals safely
punctual, dependable, and willing to learn

Job Duties

Operate dishwashing machine and manually wash pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment as needed
maintain cleanliness of all dish areas including floors, walls, and equipment
assist in organizing and storing kitchen equipment and wares in appropriate locations
dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste according to proper procedures
follow all food safety and sanitation protocols including proper handling of cleaning products
support culinary staff by restocking wares, utensils, and cleaning supplies
communicate equipment malfunctions or supply needs to Lead Steward or BOH Manager
assist with deep cleaning tasks and other kitchen maintenance as assigned
