Job Duties

  • Operate dishwashing machine and manually wash pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment as needed
  • maintain cleanliness of all dish areas including floors, walls, and equipment
  • assist in organizing and storing kitchen equipment and wares in appropriate locations
  • dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste according to proper procedures
  • follow all food safety and sanitation protocols including proper handling of cleaning products
  • support culinary staff by restocking wares, utensils, and cleaning supplies
  • communicate equipment malfunctions or supply needs to Lead Steward or BOH Manager
  • assist with deep cleaning tasks and other kitchen maintenance as assigned
