Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools including dishwasher machines, hand-wash stations, pot scrub stations, and trash compactors
- wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- receive deliveries, store perishable products properly, and rotate stock
- ensure clean dishes are stored in appropriate areas
- use detergent, disinfectant, and rinse chemicals in three-compartment sinks for washing
- inspect, remove, stack clean items, and send dirty items for rewashing
- place all items on racks and apply hot water spray to loosen and remove food residues
- sort, soak, and wash or rewash cutlery
- sort and separate containers for dirty items
- empty trash bins and maintain waste deposit areas
- clean and mop all assigned departmental areas
- dispose of glass in appropriate containers
- break down and recycle cardboard boxes and other recyclables
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report accidents, injuries, and hazardous work conditions
- complete safety training and certification
- protect company assets
- communicate clearly and professionally
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- support team goals
- ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards
- move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance
- stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, dragging, and stooping
- perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
