Job Requirements

  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow detailed cleaning protocols
  • Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods
  • Able to lift, move, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks including bending, twisting, and stooping
  • Must complete safety training and certifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions promptly

Job Duties

  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dish washing machine and trash compactor
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen, storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
  • Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock
  • Use detergent and sanitizing chemicals in three-compartment sink to clean dishes
  • Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, send soiled items back for re-scrubbing
  • Sort, soak, wash and re-wash silverware
  • Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments
  • Empty and maintain trash cans and dumpster area
  • Break down cardboard boxes and place recyclables in recycle bin
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
