Job Requirements

  • valid rn license
  • minimum 1 year of experience in step down or similar clinical setting
  • ability to work 36 hours per week on night shifts
  • completion of baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred
  • current bls certification
  • ability to relocate to or commute within seattle, wa
  • pass background check and drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • registered nurse (rn) license
  • experience in step down or intermediate care units
  • strong clinical assessment skills
  • effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • ability to work night shifts
  • familiarity with electronic medical records (emr) systems
  • basic life support (bls) certification

Job Duties

  • monitor patients transitioning from intensive care to step down units
  • administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • assess patient conditions and report changes promptly
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning
  • maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation
  • educate patients and families regarding care plans
  • ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
