Job Requirements
- valid rn license
- minimum 1 year of experience in step down or similar clinical setting
- ability to work 36 hours per week on night shifts
- completion of baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred
- current bls certification
- ability to relocate to or commute within seattle, wa
- pass background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- registered nurse (rn) license
- experience in step down or intermediate care units
- strong clinical assessment skills
- effective communication and teamwork abilities
- ability to work night shifts
- familiarity with electronic medical records (emr) systems
- basic life support (bls) certification
Job Duties
- monitor patients transitioning from intensive care to step down units
- administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- assess patient conditions and report changes promptly
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning
- maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation
- educate patients and families regarding care plans
- ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
