Job Description

Pasque and Stellar Jay are part of Aparium Hospitality Services, a respected hospitality group known for its emphasis on thoughtfully crafted dining experiences deeply rooted in local culture and seasonality. Pasque emphasizes 'Nature Based Cuisine,' which means they prioritize sourcing high-quality products from local farms and ranches while respecting the environment. This philosophy is reflected in their cooking of wild and responsibly grown produce and meats. Pasque offers a beverage program focused on craft cocktails, curated wines, and Zero Proof options, complemented by a service model that balances classic fine dining with genuine warmth and hospitality.

Stellar Jay builds on this foundation with a unique focus on live fire cooking, using an open fire hearth to create rustic, communal dishes that generate a lively dining atmosphere. The restaurant is located on a rooftop that invites guests to enjoy a festive, bright environment. Its beverage program features shaken cocktails, approachable wines by the glass, and playful Zero Proof drinks. The hospitality team at Stellar Jay is committed to intentional, detailed, and knowledgeable service that embraces a rebellious and playful spirit.

As a Stellar Jay Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences that align with the restaurants' philosophies. Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager and Food & Beverage leadership, you will work collaboratively with a team including bartenders, servers, dishwashers, cooks, and chefs. In this role, it is essential to have strong service techniques, excellent time management skills, and the ability to provide more than just order-taking services. You will be responsible for providing prompt, friendly food and beverage service, ensuring that every guest has a memorable and safe dining experience. This includes thorough menu knowledge and an understanding of allergies and dietary restrictions to ensure guest safety. Continuous training and beverage tastings will help you expand your expertise in beers, wines, and spirits. Being reliable and responsible is a core expectation for all staff members.

The position demands energy and attentiveness, including the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, handle moderately heavy trays, and work a flexible schedule covering mornings, weekends, and holidays. The environment is fast-paced and lively, requiring excellent coordination and a commitment to maintaining clean, organized workstations while communicating effectively with the rest of the Food & Beverage and Culinary teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Above all, a passion for hospitality, a love of restaurants, and a dedication to serving guests with warmth and professionalism will enable you to thrive as part of Stellar Jay's service team.

Pasque and Stellar Jay operate within Aparium Hospitality Services’ philosophy of diversity and inclusion, ensuring an equitable workplace where every employee feels a sense of belonging. They value individuals who are proud of their backgrounds and who contribute positively to the guest experience.
