- Ability to courteously and efficiently interact with guests
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Manage time effectively with minimum supervision

Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests pleasantly, quickly, and efficiently
- Ensure proper service and smooth operation of the restaurant
- Communicate guest opportunities or situations to management or relief personnel
- Answer phones, take and coordinate reservations
- Maintain knowledge of all service employees' responsibilities including servers, bus persons, and runners
- Oversee dining room activities including service standards, station assignments, and special functions
- Run cash register, handle money, and balance all checks at shift end
- Ensure employee safety and assist in bussing and resetting tables
- Maintain cleanliness of host stand, floors, menus, signage, and special boards
- Monitor door for prompt seating of guests
- Manage register bank, charges, and comps collected during a shift
