The role of Steakhouse Broiler Cook at Double Cut Steakhouse within Kalahari Resorts & Conventions entails supporting the Restaurant Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and excelling in preparing high-quality steakhouse cuisine. This position is essential in delivering a fast-paced, high-volume dining experience with exceptional standards. Responsibilities include expertly preparing grilled and broiled meats to perfection, managing the broiler station, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards, and maintaining quality and consistency in all menu presentations. Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of broiler or steakhouse experience preferably within a high-end restaurant resort or upscale dining environment
- strong knowledge of steak temperatures broiler management seasoning and proper resting techniques
- state or local law may require a certificate upon completion of state-certified proper food handling certification
- must be self-motivated organized and able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness sanitation and food safety
- must be able to communicate read write and speak english effectively
- bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Set up the broiler
- broil and grill all meat on the menu when ordered
- prepare sauces and accompanying garnishes for all broiled and grilled menu items
- requisition supplies needed to broil meats
- cover, date and neatly store all meats, poultry and seafood
- clean and sanitize the broiler station
- set up, maintain and break down butcher station
