Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment
- Treat customers and employees fairly and ethically while promoting an inclusive work environment
- Ensure timely provision of the right products with fair and accurate pricing
- Demonstrate core company values including respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety
- Create a welcoming environment by answering product questions and offering suggestions
- Prepare beverage selections to recipe and customer requests using proper equipment
- Tender transactions using company best practices
- Offer product samples and inform customers of specials
- Provide fresh products with correct portion sizes to prevent shrink
- Recommend coffee shop items to meet customer needs
- Use and maintain coffee shop equipment according to guidelines
- Label, stock and inventory merchandise in the department
- Check product quality and manage sell-by dates appropriately
- Report product ordering and shipping discrepancies to management
- Comply with safety procedures and food safety regulations
- Practice preventive maintenance and report equipment issues
- Notify management of accidents, safety risks, or illegal activities
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflict reasonably
- Act with honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information
- Follow directions and seek assistance as needed
- Provide support through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
