- Ability to coach and train associates
- Understanding of health and safety guidelines
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Certification as a Barista upon training completion
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service
- Determine customer needs and suggest appropriate products
- Sample and upsell products
- Assist in hiring new associates
- Coach and train new associates to Barista certification
- Ensure compliance with store and Price Chopper policies and procedures
- Follow all health, safety, and food safety guidelines
- Maintain customer service area and equipment cleanliness
- Keep workstation neat and organized according to 5S standards
- Prepare customer beverage orders to Price Chopper standards
- Perform cleaning tasks according to schedule and standards
- Follow merchandising, stocking, and product rotation standards
- Ensure equipment maintenance procedures are followed
- Handle cash and perform register procedures with accountability
- Follow inventory control policies
- Manage product and supply orders
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping
- Complete initial training and pass Barista certification with 90% or better
- Perform other duties as assigned
