As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor within the Villa Restaurant Group at the Wind Creek Casino location, you will hold a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily operations of the Starbucks store. Your leadership will be fundamental in guiding a skilled team of baristas, fostering an environment that embraces teamwork, customer service excellence, and high-quality beverage preparation. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferably in a coffee shop or restaurant setting
  • Passion for coffee and a strong knowledge of Starbucks products and standards Starbucks Barista Certification is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle customer concerns with professionalism
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment multitask and handle pressure effectively
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Lead by example fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Supervise shifts and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operations
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers taking and preparing orders and addressing customer inquiries and concerns
  • Ensure the highest standards of coffee and food quality
  • Oversee the preparation of beverages and food items adhering to Starbucks recipes and guidelines
  • Train new baristas on company policies procedures and customer service standards
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members
  • Assist in managing inventory levels including ordering supplies and managing stock rotation
  • Handle cash and operate the cash register accurately
  • Ensure cash-handling policies and procedures are followed
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment
  • Follow health and safety guidelines including food safety practices
  • Assist the Store Manager in creating and managing shift schedules ensuring appropriate coverage during peak hours
  • Complete paperwork reports and administrative tasks as required
