The role of Cashier Lead is a vital position within the store team, focused on providing excellent customer service to ensure that every traveler leaves better than they arrived. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.63 to $21.00, depending on experience and responsibilities. As a Cashier Lead at TA, you will work in a fun, trusting environment where customer service excellence is a priority. You will be responsible for processing customer transactions efficiently and courteously at the point-of-sale (POS) register, maintaining clean and well-stocked food and beverage areas, and managing inventory and merchandise through ordering, receiving, and stocking activities.

In addition to direct customer interaction, the Cashier Lead assists with administrative tasks such as performing end-of-day register audits, safe counts, and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. You will take on leadership responsibilities, including training new cashiers, managing schedules, prioritizing tasks based on store needs, and fostering strong communication with team members and management. Safety is paramount, and you are expected to adhere to safety guidelines and report any unsafe situations promptly. Job Duties

  • Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service

  • perform other job-related duties as assigned
