This role, the Starbucks Clerk, is a vital frontline position within the Starbucks Kiosk and dining areas. The clerk serves as the first point of contact for guests, focusing on delivering excellent guest relations and ensuring satisfaction. The Starbucks Clerk is expected to be knowledgeable about Starbucks recipes and product portioning, ensuring the preparation of beverages and food items adheres to the company's high standards. In addition, the clerk must manage inventory levels by keeping an adequate supply of products on hand, maintain food items at proper temperatures, and follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure customer safety and compliance with health regulations.
The position includes responsibilities such as performing proper closing procedures at the end of shifts and supporting management by undertaking additional duties as requested. Physical demands are significant, requiring the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods. Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time up to 4 hours
- Perform all other physical aspects of the job including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, standing for long periods of time and walking
- Must be able to work in a fast, efficient and controlled manner
- Must maintain a current Food Safety certification
- Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
