Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • ability to stand, sit, lift and stock up to 50 lbs, push, keyboard, use telephone, walk, bend for extended periods
  • previous customer service or food service experience preferred
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work independently and multitask
  • ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Raley's current employees must apply through internal portal, have no disciplinary action in past 6 months, receive leader endorsement, and may accept part-time position if needed

  • must display exceptional leadership skills

  • customer service, restaurant, barista, food service, grocery or similar experience desired
  • previous leadership experience desired

Job Duties

  • Leading, training, coaching, and communicating with all team members in their department
  • daily customer interactions
  • preparation of food, including slicing meats, preparing sandwiches, cooking fresh offerings
  • sharing food knowledge with customers and team members
  • overseeing food safety, safety, and sanitation
  • day to day production, merchandising, and quality control of all department offerings
  • driving department sales while managing department shrink and expenses
  • managing department labor and productivity
  • developing future leaders
