Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous foodservice or customer service experience preferred but not required
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Must be able to communicate effectively in English
Ability to operate a cash register and handle monetary transactions accurately
Must comply with HMSHost's health and safety regulations

Strong social skills and enjoyment in meeting new people
Ability to stay calm and work well in a fast-paced and exciting environment
Willingness and ability to learn new skills quickly
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, policies and rules

Job Duties

Greet all guests with a smile while taking food and drink orders, answer questions, call guests by name and thank them for their order
Provide and prepare quality beverages and food products consistently by adhering to recipe and presentation standards while providing legendary service
Stay calm during periods of high volume to maintain store operations and set a positive example for the team
Operate cash register and process payments following brand and HMSHost customer service and cash handling policies and procedures
Keep the store clean, stocked, organized and decorate customer display areas
Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge to uphold the culture, values and mission of the brand and HMSHost while following operational policies and procedures including safety and security
