Job Requirements
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- interpret instructions reports and information
- accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- climb up and down ladders if needed
- scan handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely including frequently lifting or moving product up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance
- flexible work schedule including nights weekends and holidays
- come to work when scheduled work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks
- ability to work in environments with refrigeration and freezer temperatures and where common allergens may be handled or present
- capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures humidity and other elements
- ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- ability to work independently and with a team
- ability to quickly resolve guest questions
- attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on greeting, greet guests within 10ft by smiling making eye contact or waving, greet guests within 4ft by smiling and initiating warm helpful interaction, help guests find what they need or resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience, end every guest transaction with a sincere thank you, actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude, adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience, deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations, uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards, execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, organizing and storing reserve product, be aware of current and future Starbucks promotions, follow Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent guest experience, support Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout shift, engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards, produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards, follow food safety requirements including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive food items, complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space, identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process accordingly, ensure accurate instocks by placing store-initiated orders, follow proper perishable inventory procedures, execute sampling best practices, complete all required training and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products, demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct safety and compliance, work in a safe manner and comply with all safety policies report hazards, support guest services such as back-up cashier order pick up and Drive-up and maintain compliance culture, perform all other duties based on business needs
