Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or customer service roles preferred
- Ability to follow food safety and OSHA guidelines
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical capability to stand and be mobile throughout the shift
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments
- Reliable and punctual attendance record
- Ability to operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Capability to safely move and scan merchandise
- Comply with all safety policies and report hazards
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently under time constraints
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve guest inquiries quickly
- Attention to detail with ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift items weighing up to 44 pounds
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing fresh and abundant products during all hours of operation
- Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing reserve products
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food according to Starbucks recipes
- Follow all food safety requirements including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive items
- Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space
- Engage warmly with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive Up while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws
- Maintain an inviting dining area throughout the shift
- Adhere to all Target and Starbucks routines to deliver consistent guest experiences while completing tasks efficiently
- Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items according to best practices
- Implement inventory procedures and store-initiated orders accurately
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work safely by adhering to all policies and reporting hazards
- Complete required training and certifications related to Starbucks quality control
