Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- Ability to climb ladders safely
- Capability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely including lifting up to 44 pounds
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in temperature ranges from 34°F to -10°F
- Ability to work in environments where common allergens may be present
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Ability to complete food safety trainings required by Starbucks and Target
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to resolve guest questions promptly
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by crafting quality handcrafted beverages and food
- Uphold all Food and Beverage, Starbucks brand, and food safety standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, stocking, zoning, and inventory accuracy
- Maintain awareness of promotional activities within Starbucks
- Support Starbucks Drive-Up order fulfillment ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain a clean and inviting dining area for guests
- Engage authentically with guests to exceed expectations
- Produce items to specifications and follow department routines
- Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items
- Complete required cleaning tasks in the Starbucks area
- Follow proper food packaging, labeling, and safety procedures
- Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items per best practices
- Ensure accurate inventory through proper ordering and perishable inventory management
- Execute sampling best practices
- Greet guests authentically and tailor engagement based on guest cues
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Support guest services including back-up cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-Up duties
- Perform all other duties as assigned based on business needs
