Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous food service or retail experience a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times
- Reliable and prompt attendance required
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely up to 44 pounds
- Ability to work in varying temperatures from 34°F to -10°F
- Ability to work around common allergens
- Physical capability to remain mobile during shift
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to operate technology devices as directed
- Must comply with all safety policies and report hazards
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Completion of all required training and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products
- Demonstrated culture of ethical conduct and safety compliance
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience
- Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, instock routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing
- Be aware of current and future Starbucks promotions
- Follow Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent guest experience and maintain food safety
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment
- Maintain an inviting dining area throughout the shift
- Engage with guests to exceed expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food following recipe cards
- Follow food safety requirements including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive items
- Complete and record all cleaning tasks as outlined
- Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items
- Ensure accurate in-stock levels by placing store orders
- Follow perishable inventory procedures
- Execute sampling best practices
- Know the tools, products, and services available to solve guest issues
- Complete training and certifications related to Starbucks product quality control
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety compliance
- Work safely and report hazards
- Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up while maintaining compliance
- Greet guests warmly and assist as needed
- Thank guests for choosing to shop at Target
- Perform other duties as needed based on business needs
