Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous food service or retail experience preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and technology
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Ability to work in varying temperatures ranging from 34°F to -10°F
- Ability to remain mobile throughout the shift
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to follow food safety and compliance policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively on multiple frequency devices and operate technology equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to remain composed and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills with a welcoming attitude
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- Understanding of food safety and OSHA regulations
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing fresh and abundant shopping during all hours of operation
- Uphold and maintain execution of Food & Beverage standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing products
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to Starbucks specifications
- Follow all food safety requirements and monitor temperature sensitive food items
- Complete cleaning tasks per best practices
- Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items
- Ensure accurate inventory through store-initiated orders and proper perishable inventory procedures
- Execute sampling best practices
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations
- Complete required training and certifications
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up while maintaining compliance with laws
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks
- Assist guests in a welcoming way to solve their needs
- Thank guests and promote a positive shopping experience
- Perform other duties as business needs arise
