Job Requirements
- accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- climb up and down ladders
- scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
- reliable and prompt attendance
- flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in environments ranging from 34F to -10F
- ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present
- capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements
- ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
- ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- work both independently and with a team
- resolve guest questions quickly
- attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations
- uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards
- execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, organizing, and storing reserve product
- support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards
- follow all food safety requirements including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive items
- complete and record cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space
- ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders
- engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU), and Drive-Up (DU) while maintaining compliance with all laws and policies
