The Food & Beverage team at Target plays a critical role in maintaining the freshest products and ensuring availability and accurate pricing on the sales floor. This team specializes in operations, efficiency, and food safety, overseeing replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety compliance, presentation, pricing, and promotional activities related to all food and beverage areas within the store.
As a Starbucks Barista at Target, you are pivotal to delivering a consistent and high-quality Starbucks experience to guests. This role involves crafting handcrafted beverages while managing food quality, freshness, and safety according to state and federal guidelines. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- Climb up and down ladders
- Safely handle and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in cold environments ranging from 34F to -10F
- Willingness to work in areas with common allergens present
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of the shift
- Reliable and prompt attendance
Job Qualifications
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- Work independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly
- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations
- Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing, and storing reserve product
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards
- Follow all food safety requirements including temperature monitoring and recording
- Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
