Job Requirements

  • accurately handle cash register operations as needed
  • climb up and down ladders
  • scan handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
  • flexible work schedule including nights weekends and holidays reliable and prompt attendance necessary
  • ability to work in environment ranging from 34 degrees Fahrenheit to -10 degrees Fahrenheit
  • ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present
  • capable of working in exposure to varying temperatures humidity and other elements including Drive-Up carryout
  • ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
  • complete all required Starbucks training related to quality control
  • demonstrate culture of ethical conduct safety and compliance
  • comply with all safety policies and best practices

Job Qualifications

  • previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
  • welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
  • ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices operate handheld scanners and other technology
  • work independently and as part of a team
  • resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
  • attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
  • capability to remain focused composed in fast-paced environment accomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframes

Job Duties

  • deliver an exceptional guest experience connecting with guests to deliver quality handcrafted beverages and food during all hours of operation prioritizing guest needs
  • uphold and maintain execution of Food and Beverage standards Starbucks brand standards and food safety standards
  • execute food and beverage processes including deliveries replenishment pulls stocking zoning instocks routines data accuracy culling rotation cleaning defect signing and backstock
  • maintain awareness of promotional activities within Starbucks
  • follow all Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent Starbucks experience for guests while driving efficiency and maintaining food safety
  • support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
  • maintain an inviting dining area for guests all day every day
  • engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
  • produce items to specifications on production cards and follow department routines
  • monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items
  • complete and record all cleaning tasks
  • follow proper packaging and labeling guidelines for food products
  • locate and identify damaged recalled or expired items and process according to best practice
  • ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders
  • follow proper perishable inventory procedures
  • execute sampling best practices
  • create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
  • observe and understand guest needs quickly and tailor approach accordingly
  • engage with guests genuinely asking questions to understand their needs
  • be knowledgeable about tools products and services available in the store and specific to your area to solve guest issues
  • thank guests genuinely and let them know we appreciate their business
  • complete all Starbucks training related to quality control
  • demonstrate culture of ethical conduct safety and compliance
  • work safely at all times identifying and correcting hazards complying with safety policies
  • support guest services such as back-up cashier order pickup and Drive Up maintaining compliance with federal state and local laws
  • perform all other duties as needed
