Job Requirements
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays
- Access all areas of the building
- Ability to interpret instructions, reports, and information
- Accurately handle cash register operations
- Ability to climb ladders if needed
- Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer conditions
- Ability to remain mobile during shifts
- Ability to work in varying temperature and humidity conditions
- Must come to work when scheduled and take required breaks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving and guest resolution skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to remain composed and focused in fast-paced environments
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide a consistent Starbucks experience by curating handcrafted beverages
- Manage food quality and freshness
- Adhere to state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines
- Greet guests and deliver friendly interactions
- Assist guests with product needs and resolve issues
- Support team efforts and assist peers
- Maintain food and beverage standards including replenishment, inventory accuracy, cleaning, and organization
- Follow all Target and Starbucks routines for consistent guest experience
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process
- Maintain an inviting dining area
- Engage with guests to meet Starbucks standards
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food per recipes
- Follow food safety requirements and monitor temperature-sensitive items
- Complete all cleaning tasks
- Identify and handle damaged or expired items
- Place store-initiated orders and manage inventory
- Execute sampling best practices
- Complete training related to quality control
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work safely and report hazards
- Support guest service duties like cashiering and order pick up
- Perform other duties as needed
