Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or customer service preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and remain mobile during shifts
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times
  • Compliance with food safety and OSHA guidelines
  • Ability to operate handheld scanners and communication devices
  • Ability to perform tasks that require climbing ladders
  • Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments ranging from cold to freezing
  • Availability to complete all required training and certifications
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Ability to maintain a friendly and welcoming attitude toward guests

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
  • Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to resolve guest questions quickly
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes

Job Duties

  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritize the guest's needs over tasks
  • Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards
  • Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing reserve product
  • Stay aware of current and future Starbucks promotions
  • Follow all Target and Starbucks routines to deliver consistent guest experience and maintain food safety
  • Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time
  • Maintain an inviting dining area throughout shifts
  • Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations based on Starbucks standards
  • Produce handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications
  • Follow food safety requirements including temperature monitoring and recording
  • Complete and record all cleaning tasks as outlined
  • Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items
  • Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders
  • Follow proper perishable inventory procedures
  • Execute sampling best practices
  • Be knowledgeable of tools, products, and services to solve guest issues
  • Complete all required quality control training and certifications
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
  • Work safely, comply with safety policies, report and correct hazards
  • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and drive-up
  • Create welcoming experiences by greeting and assisting guests
  • Thank guests and express appreciation
  • Perform other duties based on business needs
