Job Requirements
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports and information accurately
- Handle cash register operations as needed
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to scan, handle and move merchandise safely, frequently lifting up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer conditions and environments with allergens
- Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity and elements including Drive-Up and carryout
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of shifts
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and technology equipment
- Able to work both independently and in a team
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Job Duties
- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests, helping guests find what they need and resolving issues
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing fresh and abundant product availability
- Uphold and maintain the execution of food and beverage standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, inventory accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing reserve product
- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Maintain an inviting dining area throughout shifts
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed Starbucks standards
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications
- Follow all food safety requirements and complete cleaning tasks
- Locate and handle damaged, recalled or expired items
- Ensure accurate in-stocks and follow inventory procedures
- Complete required training and demonstrate safety and compliance culture
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier and order pick up
- Perform all other duties based on business needs
