Job Requirements

  • Must have current Food Handler and Allergy training certificate or must attend Food Handler and Aller-train certification courses within 14 days of employment
  • Minimum one year experience in customer service is preferred
  • Barista experience is preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred
  • May be required to work evenings, holidays and weekends
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • May be a current High School student

Job Duties

  • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner while taking accurate orders
  • Prepare and serve handcrafted beverages and food items consistently according to Starbucks recipes and presentation standards
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area including bar and customer-facing spaces
  • Restock ingredients, supplies, and products as needed throughout the shift
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • Stay calm and focused in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Arrive on time and maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Support teammates by assisting in various roles during peak hours and shift changes
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Starbucks values, mission, and product offerings
  • Problem solve and adapt to changing priorities or customer needs
  • Other duties as assigned
