This position also includes selling coffee beans and grinding and brewing equipment, which involves explaining the differences in coffee types and preparation tools. The Barista is responsible for inventory management, including replenishing coffee bean supplies and maintaining the availability of pastries and cookies, ensuring the coffee bar is well-stocked and inviting. Operational duties include performing regular preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshooting any breakdowns, and coordinating repairs as needed. The Barista is accountable for operating the Point of Sale (POS) system for a minimum of four hours per shift and participating in daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks, including assisting with thorough deep cleaning procedures monthly to maintain hygiene and store standards. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of coffee shop operations.

Physically, this position demands an individual able to stand for extended periods and perform activities such as bending, reaching, crouching, and balancing throughout their shift.
