Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • ability to work part-time shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • no supervisory experience required
  • physical ability to stand, walk, and carry up to 25 pounds
  • willingness to comply with safety and security protocols
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • no previous related work experience required

Job Duties

  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and tools
  • clean equipment and work areas
  • lock doors securely
  • set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • input orders into cash register system and collect payments
  • take orders and record them in MICROS system
  • prepare food and coffee beverages
  • ensure appliances are turned on or off appropriately
  • bus coffee cart areas and tables
  • clean dishes, utensils, tables, and equipment throughout the day
  • obtain change for expected business level
  • count bank and complete cashier reports at end of shift
  • resolve discrepancies and secure bank
  • follow all company safety and security policies
  • report accidents and unsafe conditions to manager
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • protect company assets
  • welcome and acknowledge guests per company standards
  • anticipate and address guest service needs
  • assist guests with disabilities
  • thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • speak clearly and professionally
  • develop positive working relationships
  • support team goals
  • adhere to quality expectations and standards
  • read and verify information in various formats
  • visually inspect tools and equipment for defects
