The role of Barista at Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel is a non-management, part-time position with a competitive pay rate of $21.50 per hour. Preferred candidates possess prior Starbucks Barista experience, although no formal supervisory experience or advanced education beyond a high school diploma or GED is required. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- ability to work part-time shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- no supervisory experience required
- physical ability to stand, walk, and carry up to 25 pounds
- willingness to comply with safety and security protocols

Job Duties
- Complete opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and tools
- clean equipment and work areas
- lock doors securely
- set up, stock, and maintain work areas
- input orders into cash register system and collect payments
- take orders and record them in MICROS system
- prepare food and coffee beverages
- ensure appliances are turned on or off appropriately
- bus coffee cart areas and tables
- clean dishes, utensils, tables, and equipment throughout the day
- obtain change for expected business level
- count bank and complete cashier reports at end of shift
- resolve discrepancies and secure bank
- follow all company safety and security policies
- report accidents and unsafe conditions to manager
- complete safety training and certifications
- maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- protect company assets
- welcome and acknowledge guests per company standards
- anticipate and address guest service needs
- assist guests with disabilities
