Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six months from start date as a condition of continued employment
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, in English, effectively both verbally and in writing, and understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats
  • Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
  • Must successfully complete BASSET training
  • Must successfully complete ServeSafe Sanitation training
  • Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
  • Must have an Occupational License pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position

Job Duties

  • Prepares quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and products as needed
  • Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in partner morale and performance by communicating them to the supervisor
  • Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer
  • Discovers and responds to customer needs
  • Assists in new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance
  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance
  • Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for cues
  • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standards
  • Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
