Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to interact and help guests and team members
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely
- Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer conditions
- Access all areas of the building as needed
- Ability to accurately handle cash register operations
- Ability to interpret instructions, reports and information
- Must comply with all safety policies and report hazards
- Ability to work in fast-paced and physically demanding environments
- Must follow all food safety and OSHA guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

- Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments
- Greet guests warmly with a smile and initiate helpful interaction
- Help guests find what they need or resolve issues for smooth shopping
- End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
- Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas
- Adjust to business and guest needs to provide an easy and inspiring guest experience
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by maintaining food freshness, abundance, and safety during all hours of operation
- Uphold and maintain execution of Food & Beverage standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing reserves
- Always be aware of current and future Starbucks promotions
- Follow routines to deliver consistent guest experiences while maintaining food safety
- Support Starbucks Drive Up process for accurate and timely digital order fulfillment
- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed Starbucks standards
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food as per recipe card specifications
- Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items
- Complete and record cleaning tasks in Starbucks space
- Identify and process damaged, recalled or expired items
- Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders
- Follow perishable inventory procedures
- Execute sampling best practices
- Complete all quality control training and certifications
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work safely and comply with all safety policies, report hazards
- Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pickup and Drive Up
- Comply with adult beverage laws
- Perform other duties as required by business needs
