This particular role is a partnership position within Food City, focused on delivering the Starbucks experience specifically for Food City shoppers. The role involves providing prompt customer service, ensuring quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. The job requires the individual to take customer orders efficiently, prepare and stock Starbucks products, operate the POS system, and engage with customers by offering product information and recommendations. The job is designed for individuals sixteen years or older, with or without prior food service or coffee experience, as training is provided to learn how to mix a variety of coffee and tea products using Starbucks ingredients such as coffee, teas, spices, nuts, flavorings, sauces, and oils. The role emphasizes understanding and following instructions, performing routine, repetitive tasks, and maintaining constant interaction with individuals at various levels throughout the day.

- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
Job Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Food service/coffee experience a plus, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products
- Learn the ingredients that go into various products
- Work with various Starbucks ingredients including various coffees, teas, spices, nuts, flavorings, sauces, and oils
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
Job Duties
- Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times in support of the company mission to run the best store in town
- Take customer orders, ensure orders are completed in a timely manner, and to the customers satisfaction
- Prepare, bagging, pouring, and stocking Starbucks products, rotating items to ensure product quality and safety
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow associates
- Engage with customer, offering product information, using suggestive selling techniques, and sampling products
- Process cash register transactions using POS system
- Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
