Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to scan, handle and move merchandise safely including lifting up to 44 pounds
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to work in environments ranging from 34 degrees F to -10 degrees F
- Ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be present
- Ability to remain mobile throughout shift
- Capability to work in varying temperatures, humidity and other elements related to duties such as Drive-Up and carryout
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to quickly resolve guest questions
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing fresh and abundant shopping experience
- Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing reserve product
- Be aware of current and future Starbucks promotions
- Follow Target and Starbucks routines to deliver consistent guest experience and maintain food safety
- Support Starbucks Drive-Up process for accurate and timely digital order fulfillment
- Maintain an inviting dining area throughout shift
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications
- Follow food safety requirements including monitoring temperature-sensitive items
- Complete and record cleaning tasks in Starbucks area
- Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items
- Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders
- Follow perishable inventory procedures for accurate recording
- Execute sampling best practices
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products and services to solve guest issues and improve experience
- Complete training and certifications related to Starbucks product quality control
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- Work safely and comply with safety policies and training
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and drive-up while ensuring compliance with beverage laws
- Create welcoming experience by greeting guests during tasks
- Engage guests to assist with their needs
- Thank guests for choosing Target
- Perform other duties based on business needs
