Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to operate technology equipment such as handheld scanners
- Teamwork and independent work capability
- Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- Ability to climb ladders and lift/move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in variable temperature environments ranging from -10F to 34F
- Capability to work with exposure to common allergens
- Ability to remain mobile for entire shift duration
- Reliable and prompt attendance
Job Qualifications
- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve guest questions promptly
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Capacity to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks within established timeframes
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing fresh and abundant products during all hours of operation
- Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage standards
- Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing, and storing reserve product
- Always be aware of current and future Starbucks promotions
- Follow Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent guest experience while ensuring food safety
- Support the Starbucks Drive-Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time
- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout the shift
- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards
- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications
- Monitor and record temperature sensitive food items following food safety requirements
- Complete and record all required cleaning tasks in the Starbucks area
- Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items according to best practices
- Ensure accurate in-stock levels by placing store-initiated orders
- Follow perishable inventory procedures
- Execute sampling best practices
- Demonstrate knowledge of tools, products, and services in the store
- Complete all required training and certifications related to Starbucks product quality control
- Exhibit a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work safely and report hazards
- Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pick up and Drive-up while maintaining compliance
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests
- Engage with guests in a helpful manner to solve their needs
- Thank guests and show appreciation
- Perform all other duties based on business needs
