Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior food and beverage or barista experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including early mornings evenings weekends nights and holidays
- strong communication skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements
- ability to follow detailed instructions

- prior food and beverage coffee barista restaurant experience preferred

- meet store operating policies and standards including providing quality beverages and food products cash handling and store safety and security with or without reasonable accommodation
- engage with and understand our customers including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication and requesting clarification when necessary
- prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers including recipe changes such as temperature quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
- available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
- must be able to understand read write and speak english above a basic level to effectively communicate with team members and guests
- must maintain a neat and professional appearance upholding company appearance standards at all times
- must be able to apply commonsense understanding in carrying out instructions
- must be able to comply in standardized situations with only occasional or no variation

Job Duties
- welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards providing eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the coffee shop area
- anticipate and address guests' service needs assist individuals with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation
- act with integrity honesty and knowledge that promote the culture values and mission of the company
- maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard
- anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues
- deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer
- discover and respond to customer needs
- follow operational policies and procedures including those for cash handling and safety and security to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift
- maintain a clean and organized workspace so that team members can locate resources and product as needed
- provide quality beverages whole bean and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
- follow health safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
- maintain regular and punctual attendance
