Job Requirements

  • Must provide, or obtain upon hire, a current Utah food handlers permit
  • Able to work as part of a team and build relationships
  • Must maintain regular and consistent attendance
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
  • Able to learn quickly
  • Meet store operating policies and standards, including cash handling and store safety and security
  • Comfortable with responsibilities like cash-handling and store safety
  • Able to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to keep cool and calm in a fast-paced, energetic work environment

Job Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquiries from customers and communicate simple instructions
  • Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions
  • Ability to learn and operate Point of Sale computer system and cash register
  • Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items
  • Ability to operate beverage equipment

Job Duties

  • Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
  • Deliver customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with guests
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security
  • Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume to keep store operating to standard
  • Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with management, coworkers, public etc
  • Operate beverage equipment and Point of Sale computer system
